Begin at neckline, using No 2 needles.  Cast on 54 sts.  Purl 1 row.

Beading.  K 1, * yo, k 2 tog, repeat from *, end k 1.  Purl 1 row.

Sacque.  Row 1.  K 1, * k 1, p 1, repeat from *, end k 1.  Work even in ribbing for 1 inch, beginning and ending each row with k 1.  End on wrong side.

K 1, * inc in next, p 1, repeat from *, end k 1. 

Repeat the following 2 rows for 1 inch, ending on wrong side:  ROW 1.  K 1, * p 2, k 1, repeat from *, end k 1.  ROW 2.  K 1, * k 2, p 1, repeat from *, end k 1.

K 1, * inc in each of next 2, p 1, repeat from *, end k 1. 

Repeat the next 2 rows for 1 inch, ending on wrong side:  ROW 1.  K 1, * p 4, k 1, repeat from *, end k 1.  ROW 2.  K 1, * k 4, p 1, repeat * , end k 1.

Lacy Pattern. Row 1.  K 1, * yo, k 2 tog, repeat from *, end k 1. Rows 2, 4, and 6.  Purl Row 3.  K 2, * yo, k 2 tog, repeat from *. Row 5.  K 1, * k 2 tog, yo, repeat from *, end yo, k 1. Repeat these 6 rows until work measures desired length.

Change to No 3 needles.  Work in Lacy Pattern across 8 panels of yoke, place next 11 panels on stitch holder for sleeve, continue lacy pattern across next 15 panels, next 11 on holder, pattern across last 8 panels.

Continue in lacy pattern until work measures 6 inches from yoke.

Sleeve.  Use No 3 needles.  Pick up 56 sts from stitch holder and work in lacy pattern for 5 1/2 inches.  Change to No 2 needles.  K 2 tog across and work k 1, p 1 ribbing for 3/4 inch.  Bind off in ribbing.

Bonnet.  With No 2 needles, cast on 16 sts.  Purl 1 row.

* K 1, inc, repeat from * (24 sts).  Purl next row.  Repeat these 2 rows twice (ending with 54 sts).

K 1, p 1 for 1 inch, ending on wrong side.

*Inc, p 1, repeat from * across.  Next row: k 1, p 2 .

Alternate k 2, p 1 row and k 1, p 2 row for 1 inch, ending on wrong side.

* Inc in each of 2, p 1, repeat from * across.  Next row:  K 1, p 4 back.

Continue these 2 rows in pattern for 1 inch.

Work 2 more rows in pattern, binding off 7 sts at beginning of each row for back of neck.

Change to No 3 needles and work in lacy pattern for 2 inches, ending with p row.

With No 2 needles, k 2, k 2 tog, and work in k 1, p 1 ribbing for 1 inch.  Bind off in ribbing.  Sew back seam.

Pick up 56 sts across lower edge of bonnet and work k 1, p 1 ribbing for 1/2 inch.

Bootee.  Begin at top.  With No 3 needles, cast on 36 sts.  Purl 1 row.  Work in lacy pattern for about 2 inches, and change to No 2 needles.

Beading Row:  K 2 tog, yo, * k 1, k 2 tog, yo, repeat from *, end k 1.

Purl 1 row.

K 1, p 1 for 12 sts, leave on needle, k 1 p 1 on next 12 sts for 24 rows, for instep ending on left hand needle.  Break yarn and attach at end of first 12 sts of k 1 p 1.

Pick up 16 sts along instep, k 1 p 1 across 12 (toe).  Pick up 16 sts along other side of instep.  K 1 p 1 on last 12 sts (68 sts).

Work foot as follows:  Row 1.  K 1 p 1 on 68 sts for 11 rows.

Row 2.  P 2 tog, k 1, p 1 on 30 sts, k 2 tog twice, k 1 p 1 on 30 sts, k 2 tog.

Row 3.  Work even k 1 p 1 across.

Row 4.  K 2 tog, p 1 k 1 on 28 sts, k 2 tog twice.  P 1 K 1 on 28 sts, k 2 tog.

Row 5.  Work even.

Row 6.  P 2 tog, p 1, k 1 on 26 sts, k 2 tog twice.  K 1, p 1 on 26 sts, k 2 tog.

Row 7.  Work even.  Bind off.  Sew sole and back seam.

Crochet around sacque and top of bootees.  * Ch 3, hdc in base of ch, sl st in next.  Repeat from * around.

Insert ribbons for ties.
