Sacque: Row 1. Ch 75, dc in fourth st from hook, dc in each of next 11, 5 dc in next (corner made), dc in 12, corner, dc in 21, corner, dc in 12, corner, dc in 13, ch 3, turn.
Row 2. * Yo, sk 2, draw up lp in next, yo, draw up lp in same st, yo, through 4, yo, through 2 (cluster made), yo, hold first cluster forward, and make another in first skipped st, ch 1 *, (this is a crossed cluster), repeat * to * 4 times, dc in same st as last cl (center st of corner) ch 1, sk 1, cr cl, making last cl in same corner st as dc, 5 cr cl, corner as before, continue around, dc in last st, ch 1, turn.
Row 3. Sc in dc, sc in ch 1, sc in each cl, sc in ch 1, etc., around, with corner as follows: 2 sc under ch 1, 3 sc in corner dc, and 2 sc under ch 1. Ch 1, turn.
Rows 4 through 11. Sc in each sc, 3 sc in center sc of each corner, ch 1, turn. Ch 3, turn after Row 11.
Row 12. Same pattern as Row 2, except add ch 1 between cl in cross, as well as ch 1 between cr cl.
Row 13. Same pattern as Row 3, except add sc in each ch 1 between cl, and catch corners of yoke tog for armhole by making sc in both corner sts at same time, ch 3, turn.
Row 14. * (Cr cl as in Row 2) twice, cr cl with sk 1 instead of sk 2*, repeat around (59 cr cl).
Row 15 and succeeding rows until work measures 6 1/2 inches: Cr cl in each cr cl, ch 1 after each cl. Ch 3, turn at end of each row, and dc in last st of each row to keep edges straight. Fasten off.
Sleeve. Row 1. Join yarn at underarm, ch 3, cr cl around, sk 3 instead of 2 (16 cr cl), join to top of ch 3, ch 3, turn.
Row 2. Cr cl in each cr cl, ch 3, turn.
Repeat row 2 until work measures 6 or 6 1/2 inches.
Cuff. Row 1. Sc in each cl (32 sc), ch 1, turn. Repeat Row 1 three times, and add 1 row of cr cl as for Row 2 of yoke. Make 1 row of same cr cl on starting ch at neck.
Bonnet. Row 1. Ch 6, join in ring. 15 sc in ring, join with sl st.
Row 2. Ch 3 for first cl, cl in st just preceding ch 3, * cl in next, cl in same st as last cl made *, repeat around (15 cr cl), join to ch 3. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3. Cr cl in each cr cl, with ch 1 after each cl.
Row 4. Sc in each cl and each ch 1, ch 1, turn.
Rows 5 through 10. Sc in each sc (ch 1, turn at end of each row.)
Row 11. Inc 1 sc in each tenth st.
Row 12. Sc in each sc.
Row 13. Ch 3, same as Row 12 of sacque (22 cr cl).
Row 14. Same as Row 4 of bonnet.
Row 15. Ch 3, same as Row 12 of sacque until 25 cr cl, ch 3, turn.
Row 16. Repeat Row 14 until work measures 3 or 3 1/2 inches.
Row 17. Sc in each cl, sc in ch 1 between cr cl (76 sc), ch 1, turn. Work in sc (even) until brim measures 1 3/4 inches. Add a row of cr cl across brim and around neckline, inc at corners as for yoke. Fasten off.
Bootee. Begin with sole: Ch 20. Row 1. 2 dc in fourth ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 15, 5 dc in next, 1 dc in each of next 15 down opposite side of ch, 2 dc in last, join to top of 3-ch.
Row 2. Ch 3, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 7, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in same st as 3-ch, join.
Row 3. Ch 3, (1 dc in next, 2 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in each of next 14, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 7 times, 1 dc in each of next 13, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in same st as 3-ch, join.
Row 4. Ch 3, 1 sc around the spoke of each dc, inserting hook from back, right to left, join (68 sc), ch 1, turn.
Rows 5-12. Sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.
Instep. Row 1. Beginning with first st to left of center back, count on left side of shoe to 27th st. Join yarn in this st, ch 1, sc in each of next 12, ch 1, turn. Make 12 rows even. Fasten instep in shoe as follows: Catch last lp on hook into 15th st from center back on right side of shoe, and with instep piece toward you, sc it st for st to right side of shoe, 2 sc at corner, sc across toe, inserting hook from right to left under each of the original 13 sts of instep, 2 sc at corner, sc instep and shoe tog along left side, ending in 15th st from center back.
Beading. With toe of shoe facing you, ch 4, * sk 1, dc in next, ch 1 *, repeat * to * across instep, and around shoe, ch 1, join to third st of ch 4 (21 dc, counting ch 4).
Top. Row 1. Sc in each dc and each ch 1 (42 sc).
Row 2. Ch 3, cr cl as for Row 2 of yoke. Add 4 rows of cr cl in each cr cl, ch 3, turn at end of each row. Fasten off.
Carriage Robe or Blanket: Finished dimensions are 30 x 36 inches.
Row 1. Ch 183, sc in second st from hook, and in each st across, ch 1, turn.
* Add 8 more rows sc, even. (This is sc panel).
Row 10. Same pattern as Row 2 of Yoke, dc in last st, ch 1, turn.
Row 11. Same pattern as Row 3 of yoke *. Repeat * to * until work measures about 27 inches, ending with sc panel.
Border. Cr cl row same pattern as Row 2 of yoke around entire robe. Make 4 or 5 rows cr cl on cr cl, increasing by adding 1 cr cl each side of corner to keep work flat.
Edge all garments as follows: Ch 3, sl st in next, etc., around.
Insert ribbons for ties.
