Sacque:
1st Medallion: Ch 6, join in ring.
Row 1. Ch 3, 4 dc in ring, turn work to wrong side, sl st in top of ch-3 (popcorn made) * turn work back to right side, ch 2, 5 dc in ring, make pc as before *, repeat * to * 6 times, ch 2, join to top of ch-3.
Row 2. Ch 3, 2 pc under each ch-2 (16 pc) with ch 2 between, join.
Row 3. Ch 1, * 3 sc under each of 3 ch-2, (3 sc, ch 1, 3 sc) under next ch-2 (corner) *, repeat * to *, join.
Break yarn and fasten off.
2nd Medallion: Same as 1st until you reach 3rd corner in Row 3.
Remove hook from ch-1, insert in corresponding ch-1 of 1st medallion, draw lp of first ch-1 through, sc under ch-2, remove hook and insert in corresponding sc on 1st med, draw lp through, continue across, joining matching stitches of one side only, turn corner and complete around.
Make 10 Medallions. Join 4 for back of yoke, one on each shoulder, and 2 for each side of yoke front.
Fasten yarn in ch-1 at center front of left side of yoke.
Ch 4, dc in base of same ch, * sk 2, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next (V made) *, repeat across (10 V's) (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in ch-1 at corner, continue around entire yoke increasing at outside corners, and decreasing at corners of neck by using 1 dc instead of V, end with dc in base of starting ch-4, ch 1, join to 3rd st of ch. Do not break yarn.
Row 1. (With separate yarn, join corners of yoke under arms with ch 7, fastening in center dc of each corner.)
Pick up yarn at center front. Ch 3, pc in same st (count ch-3 as one dc), * sk 1, V in next dc, V in next V, V in 1st dc of next V, pc in 1st dc of next V *, repeat * to * 3 times.
Continue in pattern across ch-7, sk 1 between V's, and make pc in corner dc (18 patterns in all). Ch 4, turn.
Row 2. Dc in base of ch-4, * V in each of 3 V's, V in top of pc *, repeat * to * across. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3. * Pc in 1st V, V in each of 3 V's, pc in next V *, repeat to * to *. Ch 4, turn.
Row 4. V in 1st pc, * (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next V (shell made), V in next V, shell in next V, V in next pc *, repeat * to * across.
Row 5. Pc in 1st V, * shell under ch-1 of shell, V in V, shell in shell, pc in next V *, repeat across.
Repeat Rows 4 and 5 until work measures 6 1/2 or 7 inches from yoke, ending with Row 4.
Border Row. * Pc in V, dc in each of 2 dc of shell, pc under ch 1, dc in last 2 dc of shell *, repeat to * across.
Fasten off.
NOTE: Pc row must always be made from right side of work!
Sleeve:
Row 1. Fasten yarn in base of center V at underarm, ch 3, V in 2nd sp, * pc in next V, shell in next V, V in next V, shell in next V *, repeat around ending pc in last sp of yoke, V in next sp, join to top of ch-3. (ALWAYS ch 3, turn at end of each row.)
Row 2. Dc in 1st V, V in top of pc, continue in pattern around, ending dc in last V, join to top of ch-3.
Row 3. Pc in 1st V, pattern around, ending pc in last V, join.
Succeeding rows continue in pattern until work measures 6 1/2 or 7 inches, ending with pc row.
Cuff:
Row 1. * Sc in top of pc, 2 sc under ch-1 of shell, 2 sc in V, 2 sc under ch-1 of shell *, repeat * to * around, join.
Row 2. Ch 4, V in same st, * sk 2, V in next *, repeat around, join to 3rd st of ch-4.
Row 3. Ch 3, pc in 1st V, * dc in 1st dc of next V, pc in same V *, repeat * to * around, join. Fasten off.
Bonnet: Make medallion as for yoke to Row 3.
Row 3. Ch 3, 2 pc under each ch, (32 pc). Join.
Row 4. Ch 4, dc in 1st pc, * pc in next pc, V in next pc *, repeat * to * around, join.
Row 5. Ch 4, V in same st, * V in pc, V in V *, repeat around, join.
Row 6. Ch 4, dc in 1st V, * pc in next V, V in V *, repeat around, join.
Row 7. Ch 3, shell in 1st V, * V in pc, shell in next V *, repeat around, join.
Row 8. Sl st to center of shell, ch 3, * shell in shell, V in V, shell in shell, pc in V *, repeat around, join.

Row 10. Join yarn in first V on opposite side, pc in V, shell in shell, V in V, shell in shell, pc in V, continue across in pattern, ending pc in last V, ch 4 turn.

Row 12. Pattern row with pc.
Row 13. Pattern row without pc. Fasten off at end of 13th row.
Make first med as for yoke, join to lower left side of bonnet, beginning with center st of first V and ending with center st of 3rd V, stitch for stitch. (See method of joining medallions for yoke.) Join second med to first, and continue across front of bonnet, each med fitting one pattern (6 medallions).
Join yarn to lower right side of bonnet at base of last med, V in corner of med, (sk 3, V in next st) 3 times, ch 3, sk 1, * V in next, sk 3 *, repeat * to * across front, ch 3 at corner, etc., sc sk 1, sc across bonnet at back of neck.
Border: Pc in 1st dc of V, V in same V, across front, pc, dc, pc, etc., across neck.
Bootee:
Begin with sole: Ch 20.
Row 1. 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 15, 5 dc in next, 1 dc in each of next 15 down opposite side of ch, 2 dc in last, join to top of 3-ch.
Row 2. Ch 3, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 7, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in same st as 3-ch, join.
Row 3. Ch 3, (1 dc in next, 2 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in each of next 14, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 7 times, 1 dc in each of next 13, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in same st as 3-ch, join.
Row 4. Ch 3, 1 dc around the spoke of each dc, inserting hook from back, right to left, join. (68 dc, counting 3-ch).
Rows 5 and 6. Ch 3, dc in each dc, join.
Row 7. Ch 3, yo, draw up lp in 1st dc, insert hook in next dc and draw up lp, yo, through 3, yo, through 2 (dec dc made), dc in each dc until last 2, make dec dc, join, and fasten off. This is center back (66 dc).
Instep: Make rows 1 and 2 of med as for yoke, mark 15th st from center back on each side of shoe, sc med between these marks leaving 4 free sp across top of instep (med).
Beading: With toe of shoe facing you, ch 4, sk 1 st, * dc in next, ch 1, sk 1 st *, repeat around, join to 3rd st of ch 4 (21 dc).
Top: Row 1. Ch 4, dc in same st, * sk 1 sp, V in next sp, sk 1 sp, V in next dc *, repeat around, join (14 Vs).
Row 2. * V in 1st V, shell in next, pc in next, shell in next, V in next, shell in next *, repeat * to * once, end V in next, shell in next, join to 3rd st of ch 4.
Continue in pattern for 3 more rows.
