Row 1. Dc in 4th st from hook, dc in each of next 9 (11 dc with turning ch), 5 dc in next, dc in each of next 12, 5 dc in next, dc in each of next 21, 5 dc in next, dc in each of next 12, 5 dc in next, dc in each of next 11. Ch 3, turn.
Row 2. Dc in each dc, with 5 dc in center of each 5-dc-group (corner). Ch 4, turn.
Row 3. Dc in base of ch-4, sk 2, (dc, ch 1, dc in next---V made) 4 times.
Corner as follows: 4 dc with ch 1 between, then continue around, 6 V's with sk 2 between, corner, 9 V's, corner, 6 V's, corner, 5 V's. Ch 4. Turn.
Rows 4 and 5. V in each V, corner as in row 3 around.
Rows 6, 7, and 8. Dc in each st, 5 dc in each corner st, ch 3, turn.
Row 9. 9 dc, * sk 1, V in each of next 4, sk 1, dc in each of next 6 *, repeat * to * across, joining corners of yoke at underarm, and ending dc in each of last 10, ch 3, turn.
Rows 10, 11, and 12. Dc in each dc, V in each V, ch 3, turn.
Row 13. Increase fullness by adding ch 1 on each side of dc panels and widen each panel as follows: V in first V, V in first dc of next V, V between second and third V's, V in last dc of next (third) V, V in 4th V, Ch 3, turn at end of row.
Row 14. Dc in each dc of panels, and V in each V. Ch 3. Turn.
Repeat row 14 until work measures 6 1/2 or 7 inches from bottom of yoke.
Sleeve. Join yarn at underarm, ch 3, sk 1, V in next, (sk 2, V in next) 6 times, (sk 1, V in next) 5 times, (sk 2, V in next ( 6 times, join to top of ch-3. (18 V's). Ch 3 and turn at end of each row.
For succeeding rows, make V in each V until work measures 6 1/2 or 7 inches.
Cuff: (Sc, sk 1) 11 times, (sc, sk 2) 8 times, (sc, sk 1) for rest of way around. (30 sc). Make 2 rows of dc.
Edge: Use for cuff, and around entire sacque, bonnet, and bootee top: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st, sk 1, sc in next, repeat.
Add Bucilla Crochelle edge: Ch 2, sl st in every st, if desired. Use ribbons or crocheted cords and pompons for ties and trim.
Bonnet:
Ch 4, join in ring.
Row 1. Ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join to top of ch-3. (12 dc, counting ch-3).
Row 2. Ch 3, dc in base of ch-3, 2 dc in each dc, join (24 dc).
Row 3. Ch 3, dc in each of next 3, * ch 2, dc in same st as last dc, dc in each of next 4 *, repeat * to * around, ending ch 2, dc in same st last dc, join.

Bootee:
Begin with sole: Ch 20.
Row 1. 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 15, 5 dc in next, 1 dc in each of next 15 down opposite side of ch, 2 dc in last, join to top of 3-ch.
Row 2. Ch 3, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 7, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in same st as 3-ch, join.
Row 3. Ch 3, (1 dc in next, 2 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in each of next 14, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 7 times, 1 dc in each of next 13, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in same st as 3-ch, join.
Row 4. Ch 3, 1 dc around the spoke of each dc, inserting hook from back, right to left, join. (68 dc, counting 3-ch).
Rows 5 and 6. Ch 3, dc in each dc, join.
Row 7. Ch 3, yo, draw up lp in 1st dc, insert hook in next dc and draw up lp, yo, through 3, yo, through 2 (dec dc made), dc in each dc until last 2, make dec dc, join, and fasten off. This is center back (66 dc).
Instep. Row 1. Beginning with first st to left of 3-ch in center back, count on left side of shoe to 27th st. Join yarn in this st, and with toe of shoe toward you, draw loop in same st. Retaining all loops on hook, draw up lp in each of next 12 (13 total loops). Work off as follows: yo, through 1, * yo, through 2 *, repeat across. The lp left on hook is always first st of next row.
Row 2. Insert hook under second vertical bar, draw up loop. Retaining all lps on hook, draw up lp in each vertical bar except last. Now insert hook through last vertical bar and st directly behind it and draw up lp (13 loops). Work off as for Row 1. Make 6 more rows in same manner.
Row 9. Draw up loop under second vertical bar, yo, through 2 (sc made). Repeat across, ending with 1 loop on hook.
Fasten instep in shoe as follows: Catch remaining loop on hook into 15th st from center back on right side of shoe (do not count 3-ch) and with instep piece toward you, sc it st for st to right side of shoe. 2 sc at corner, sc across toe, inserting hook from right to left under each of the original 13 sts of instep, 2 sc at corner, sc instep and shoe together along left side, ending in 15th st from center back (do not count 3-ch).
Beading. With toe of shoe facing you, ch 4, * sk 1, dc in next, ch 1 *, repeat across instep, ending in same 15th st where you began joining instep to shoe.
Ch 1, sk 1, dec dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, repeat * to * (above) 11 times, sk 1, dec dc in next 2, ch 1, join to third st of 4-ch (21 dc counting 4-ch)
Top: Row 1. Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 st, * ch 1, sk 1 st, V in next, (sk 2, V in next) twice, sk 1, dc in each of next 5, ch 1 *, repeat * to *, end dc in each of next 2, join to top of ch-3. Make 4 more rows, dc in dc, and V in V. Edge, and fasten off.
